Work is nearing completion on A Ninja Named Stan, a 99-page graphic novel which happens to have a little something for everyone: comedy, adventure, crime-solving, friendship, romantic spark, all set in the rainbow of multiplicity that is New York. The Chronicles of Ruthie, Verse 1 is the first book of a two-book story. We meet Ruthie, a struggling writer in her mid-20s who is at a crossroads in her life, torn between finding and losing herself, and seeking the path that will take her home. The brilliant young playwright Chana Porter is the writer on this one, which will remain in black and white (we'll be experimenting with some grey tones as well to see if it works).
